soo I just finished watching Gunjan Saxena with my little sister and we're in MESS. I love, LOVE it. it is such an important movie and I do think every young girls should watch it. it's rich with emotion and message and whoever wanted to "boycott" this movie are fools.
Janhvi Kapoor did a terrific job as Gunjan Saxena. she didn't over or under do it, it's just perfect. my lil sister could stop saying "SHES SOO GORGEOUS" all along the movie and I could be more agree. the casting is marvelous even the little Gunjan, it's just lovely to see!
there are so many brilliant lines from the movie that I'm sure everyone must have known and remembered word by word. and I cant help feeling a little sad too, because the movie is set in what... 1999? and today we're in 2020 and we still relate to Gunjan's story and situation

Pankaj Tripathi is so adorable as the father, he reminded me of my own dad soooo much. he shares so many same lines and jokes with my dad lol.

don't know if I can properly say how I feel about the movie bcs I honestly think it's just REALLY good!!
my only, ONLY regret about Gunjan Saxena is that it wasn't released on theater because like I said, I really do think little girls should watch the movie. and it being directly released to Netflix kinda make it not accessible to these young girls.
so I recommend everyone (who haven't watched it) to watch the movie with as many little girls as possible (your sisters, cousins, or neighbors lool)!!
I honestly don't know how non-bot, normal, and "educated" people can possibly hate Gunjan Saxena? the movie is well made and everyone did a great job. for once, I think people should set aside their hate to any particular actress/actor in the movie, and acknowledge its greatness.
