Many people don't believe the MI legislative leaders' promise. Yes, trust but verify. But:

When MI GOP leaders say they'll "follow the law," they're acknowledging that they don't appoint electors.

Legislature's constitutional role was to establish the process that Trump corruptly pressured them to junk.
