Thread sorry!1.If this helps anyone I need to say it! From the heart. In my role i travel around schools. It has been my experience that every one has the ‘magic’ it always had pre Covid. It may feel joyless and exhausting (which I am under no illusions that it isn’t)
You are all doing such an amazing job- from an independent outside observer it appears business as normal to your young people. As a mum of a new y7 who missed transition he absolutely loves his big school and Comes home everyday enthusing about his great teachers and school
I know it’s relentless and you are all the swans paddling endlessly beneath the water- but you’re bossing it. Keep the faith in yourselves and your young people.
My eldest said today- ‘its weird the weekends in lockdown seem so quick because we’re not doing anything but the week at school remains the same as it always has’- during a national crisis against all odds your young people are allowed to be ‘normal’ whilst in your care.
