For those of you who haven't had the dis/pleasure of a Central Service secondment to Home Office we thought we should put the Priti Patel thing into context. This NOT a defence of her; simply context.

All we'll add in conclusion is that if we each had ÂŁ1 for every time we caught a bollocking over our careers we'd all be retired by now....
