honestly really hate the "this is how you age when you're unproblematic" joke because at some point we are going to have to address the continued implication that ugliness or physical imperfection is a result of moral failure

rich people look good when they're old because they're rich. the majority of poor people who can't afford quarterly botox will never look like that. perhaps kind of fucked up to repeatedly imply that a literal feature of wealth is a sign of goodness or virtue

in general, our society is obsessed with moralizing physicality. we are taught, subconsciously or otherwise, that people who are beautiful/thin/young have done something good to deserve it and vice versa -- when, in fact, our beauty standards are built around wealth and whiteness

also find it funny that the unproblematic queens getting posted are always like multimillionaires with shares in exxon and a 350 ton carbon footprint
