DA: Landrum was DA for a bit and started prosecuting weed like a felony, downplayed the Brady violations that led to Robbert Jones' conviction, and issued material witness warrants for crime victims as a judge. Defunding the library (Proposition 2) is required in order to make financing Proposition 1 & 3 possible. Otherwise, these propositions will raise taxes despite the lack of a spending plan or evaluation metrics. Prop. 1: "But to varying degrees, there are concerns about the lack of spending plans for the proposed tax dedications. For the infrastructure tax, this means voters cannot fully assess whether the tax will make meaningful progress toward addressing identified needs." #NOon1

Prop. 2: 40% budget cut to the library for the next 20 years and literal pennies to the early education fund. We can 100% absolutely organize and pass something equitable for both the library and early education. #saveyournolalibrary and vote #NOon2

French Quarter Sales & Use Tax: This will renew the sales tax for another 5 years to pay for increased police presence in the French Quarter. More policing doesn’t equal less crime & sales tax affects the working class more than anyone else.
