with Jin where he is doing HIS hobby but he isn't alone, they're all together because as members said before, Jin brings them all together & first time in MV the tone shifts from wistfulness to happy. They're all huddled together, playing together until +
Jin leaves and they go back to doing their own thing even if in the same room. RM spraying his bonsai, Hobi listening to music, the tone is not as bright as before.
Cut to this scene, Tae is driving but Jin is right next to him, not only keeping him company but also overlooking his 5 babies
Back to the lounge room and they're all together again at night with Jin literally their centre of gravity and getting hugged from all ends.
Then we have the bedroom scene with them all together casually as Sope do their verses & then Tae again in the car but this time looking at the stadium and the lines are "There's no end in sight, is there a way out, My feet refuse to move".....And we cut to +
This "very important scene" in Jk's words, they're all asleep and only Jin is up, and Jin, aka BTS' emotional strength and centre of gravity according to this video responds "Hold my hand, To that future, lets run away...". He is directly answering to Tae's lines.
Its important to note that even when the first time these positive lyrics of "close your eyes, hold my hand, to the future lets run away" came in the song, even thought it wasn't jin singing, it was HIM in the MV, looking at the boys. The one who gives them positivity!
Back to this scene with Jin cutting to an empty stadium concert, Jin is making them escape the sad reality and taking them to what they love to do best.
Jin once again in the centre, bringing them together to sing "As if nothing happened, yeah life goes on" & it only makes sense that the last chorus ending lines are by Jin, probably also why he doesn't sing the starting chorus lines to highlight this transition & impact.
And ofcourse a disclaimer, this is just my own take on the beautiful storytelling.
Also jin never got a "wistful" shot. Why? Because thats not the role he plays in BTS. Ofcourse he gets frustrated like he told us during ON:E ment but in their eyes, he is their support & strength, his solo shot comes LATER when they're ASLEEP. And Jin gives them a SOLUTION.
to further add, remember when Hobi had to award Jin and chose the reason as "'For bringing hopes, dreams and joy to the members in 2019". HOPE and DREAM, like in this MV, once they're asleep, Jin takes them to a beautiful dream.
Some ppl understood this Thread as them “thanking” Jin. Well no, I don’t think so. This MV is capturing their lives/thoughts during covid but it so happens that in their lives when they’re down, Jin ends up bringing Them together, like when he planned the strawberry farm?+
They were all together, HAPPY, Talking for hours just like here in the video game scene. Similarly they are all sad forlorn, wanting to perform again but Jin shows them the dream and gives them hope again at the end, probably similar to real life, like when he told yoongi+
things about it being okay even if he just pretends to work hard cuz that motivates others and they work hard in BV4. He is the person who gives hopes & dreams and that’s naturally reflected in the MV.
