I have 10 years of experience working in tech.
8 years of programming experience.
How many times have I held the title "Senior Developer"?
ZERO times.
In a decade.
I was unofficially the "lead" at a few companies when I was the only mobile developer.
So yes.
Bias exists.

For all the tech bro replies:
If I& #39;m capable enough to work at Apple, I surely was capable enough to have the title of "Senior" at my last startup where white tech bros with less than 2 years of experience got easily handed the title.
I will say it again.

For the tech bros rolling into this thread STILL telling me I& #39;m probably just not good at my job:
I literally have a colleague from my last company VOUCHING for me, that I was the most capable developer there and should& #39;ve been Senior.
I& #39;m done here.
