Wasn’t going to comment any further on the CEEC video, but one thing has been REALLY bothering me all day (and I have to get it off my chest)....
The video includes a female Bishop telling us why she things female Bishops are okay but gays are not. To explain this she gives us her interpretation of scripture (fine). The thing is, I know not everyone in that video would agree with her interpretation of scripture....
Why is it okay to have a differing interpretation of scripture around the consecration of women as Bishops (which they acknowledge by including in the video), yet for sexuality scripture is so ‘crystal clear’ and no other interpretation valid???....
It just seems so inconsistent to me? Am I missing something???
