So, once upon a time 15 years old Kim Dokja found some platform for making penpals, but a letter he sent across to another dimension, to Yoo Joonghyuk's Midday Tryst and they're both didn't know about it. Yoo Joonghyuk were live in a world where the scenario exists because of AI—

—and all humans in his world have some microchip planted in their wrist, shaped like a bracelet and it's pattern different for every human. The microchip has a function as Midday Tryst (messenger apps like LINE or Whatsapp that require two people to add each other QR Code first—

—to communicate), weather checks, maps, and notifications bar. All of it would look like a game interface. A <Constellation> is an entity from another planet (undergo the same scenario under AI control but they're already far ahead and have collected a lot of stories) watch—

—the different planet undergoes a scenario as a reader and their planetary system is called <Nebula>.

One day, Yoo Joonghyuk in the 2nd main scenario received a letter from his Midday Tryst. His notification bar said [You just got one letter unchecked!] and sure it looks really weird because this bitc never showed up with "letter" not "message", " notification", nor "attachment".

Yoo Joonghyuk was like, "what the hell is is?". He ignore the letter for a whole day but every 9.00 AM 1.00 PM 5.00 PM and 8.00 PM, his notification bar always popped out to challenge the Death with [You just got one letter unchecked!] and 'ding!' sound. Then, when he think—

—again two times, he never shares or carelessly gives his Midday Tryst's QR Code, so the question is who and how the sender knows his contact? He began to think that the sender could be <Dokkaebi> people or maybe <Constellation> from other planetary systems, he felt that this—

—could be a promising opportunity for him to go through the scenario. So he replies, but never put hope into it.

One hour, ten hours, the replies never came. Yoo Joonghyuk know it, but then almost two weeks later, his Midday Tryst dared to show its face to Death with its facial 'ding!' and [You just got one letter unchecked!] he immediately opened the notification, his Midday Tryst—

—interface barely cover his figure from the top of his head to his chest. It's a long reply. But then, he just figured out why that bitc called this as a "letter", postage stamps at the top right corner of the interface, address location, postal code, .... and the sender name.

"Kim Dokja."

But just where the fuck is South Korea? Seoul? He's never heard a neighborhood or region named like that. Is he really from other planetary systems? Perhaps, a <Constellation> with strong <Nebula>?

It took so much time until Yoo Joonghyuk realize about the first letter that 'Kim Dokja' sent to him, is he read it carefully from start to finish? He's not careless type nor forgetful, but how on earth he never read it thoroughly. So he checks the letter, it's just a normal—

—introduction. Name, trivial about him, hobby, and how he wants to be Yoo Joonghyuk's penpals through this apps platform because it's his first time install it. What the hell are penpals anyway? What platform? But then his gaze landed on one sentence at the bottom of the letter.

「 By the way, which country you are? Its name quite interesting, but your name sounds Korean. I'm sorry if I was wrong. ㅇ人ㅇ 」

'He used emoji, it's cute,' Yoo Joonghyuk thinks.

Wait, what the hell is he thinking?! He immediately emptied his mind and focused on the main goal, he writes the reply. This <Constellation> seems to be new-born from a strong, at least, <Narrative Grade>. He has value to use.

He asks who is he, where's South Korea, and what's his modifier. Yoo Joonghyuk letter never looks like one, he writes just like a reply from the messenger, because of his Midday Tryst's instant messenger apps, not a platform for making penpals. That's why Yoo Joonghyuk—

—confused, but decided to dig up information about the sender first.

So, he waits.

Thus another five days passed but the reply never comes. Yoo Joonghyuk starts to think that the 'Kim Dokja' might be on this planet citizen because of long-time reply, he might be someone who undergoes a scenario somewhere on this planet so Yoo Joonghyuk stop waiting. But—

—twelve days passed and finally, he got his response letter. He looks excited behind his poke, good-looking, and scary face and Lee Jihye noticed it.

"Master, you seem in a good mood today."

But Yoo Joonghyuk frowned, refute her opinion, "I'm not."

"You are."

"I'm. Not."

She's so stubborn just like her master, so the debate will not stop before Jung Heewon interrupts their useless debate.

"You guys should stop now, we're on our way for the scenario."

So Yoo Joonghyuk decided to read the reply later.

Here he is, in their basecamp after take down their first station. Yoo Joonghyuk remembers he has a letter to read so he opens Midday Tryst's interface, and start reading. Not even a minute passed and his handsome face already gloomy, 'This doesn't make any sense', he thinks.

The letter said, he doesn't know anything about the scenario, he even asks Yoo Joonghyuk whether he's a scientist or not when he mentioned AI's scenario. He said that his teacher taught him some about the constellations and nebula which existed when a star had massive mass—

—running out of energy. So Yoo Joonghyuk (I'm sorry he's OOC) furiously type...

[Are you kidding me?] And he mentions if this 'Kim Dokja' doesn't watch the 4th main scenario that is ongoing on his planet right now, Yoo Joonghyuk still in his thought that he's a <Constellation>.

He sent his reply, no need to wait for a reply from him anymore.

But a few minutes later Yoo Joonghyuk asks a question to himself, 'Why am I mad anyway? This is just a trivial problem, no need to get angry. What's wrong with me lately?'

Yoo Joonghyuk get out from his hidey hole, carrying his sword to looking for hidden scenario he could find.

Twelve days passed, his Midday Tryst's 'ding!' sound again, notification bar [You got one letter unchecked!] popped out as if don't understand the consequences reappear—

—in front of the Death itself. He's currently doing nothing, silently thinking about how to win the Absolute Throne while polishing his sword, so he check the letter. It's a long letter as always, not surprised. He read the letter, but stopped midway as he found some odd thing.

「 I-I'm sorry, but I really don't know what are you talking about. I'm sorry if I said the wrong thing. If I'm just bothering you, please let me know! I don't want to interfere with your life.. ㅠㅠ It's okay, I understand from how you reply to my letters once a year. 」

Yoo Joonghyuk petrified.

What does he mean 'one a year'? Aren't he the one who always reply in a long time? In exactly twelve days?

Wait a second, Yoo Joonghyuk always receive a letter every twelve days. But 'Kim Dokja' said he's receive his letter every once a year...

Once every twelve months.

"Master?" Lee Jihye called him, he came back to consciousness, "Why are you looking at empty Midday Tryst's inbox?"

"What do you mean empty inbox?" He shifted his Midday Tryst's letter interface so Lee Jihye can see it.

But the girl frowned, "That's what we called blank inbox."

If Yoo Joonghyuk think about it, aren't the <Constellation> would send a reaction notification to him every time he reads a letter and types a reply?

'What the hell?' he thinks. 'So <Constellation> could see me typing but can't see the letter?'

Just who's 'Kim Dokja'?

Perhaps, he's someone that live far away from this planetary system, beyond the reach of AI's scenario?

Does such a place really exist?

Yoo Joonghyuk knows all about time-relavity stuff, it is possible if he receives the letter once every twelve days while 'Kim Dokja' receive his letter once every twelve months because difference of the distance between the two places and the moving speed of the two places.

Just thinking about it Yoo Joonghyuk got goosebumps, he did not expect such a faraway place to exist. At the same time, he feel.... happy. Then he type the reply letter, and sent.

A day passed and Yoo Joonghyuk reread the reply letter from 'Kim Dokja' that he have not had time—

—to read yesterday. And he found some advice from 'Kim Dokja' (in the beginning of the letter) that he shouldn't receive the Absolute Throne because he briefly mentioned the current scenario before.

「 It's an interesting... scenario. Is that a real-world analogy question?—

—But sure I think it's really suspicious, how could there be anything this world that made someone could do and gain whatever they want? I think it's a scam! Please be careful. ㅇㅁㅇ 」

So the next day when Absolute King Selection started, Yoo Joonghyuk win, but he choose to—

—destroy the throne. Make the <Constellation> of Bihyung's channel got chaotic because of an unexpected event and so the whole Yoo Joonghyuk's party. Sure, Yoo Joonghyuk very satisfied with the result, he could gain a story that AI can't calculate, make a fuss the whole Bureau—

—because they ended up calculate his story manually.

So twelve days later, Yoo Joonghyuk already waiting for the reply letter arrives. In Yoo Joonghyuk's previous letter, he ask if 'Kim Dokja''s world really exist and if yes then the platform Kim Dokja's use is connecting two different planets, or maybe dimensions. He—

—explain how his planet looks like, the scenario he live in and the next scenario. It's become a long reply.

So Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja start to exchange stories and information, Kim Dokja help Yoo Joonghyuk to go through scenarios with his explanations, also he tell his one year life to Yoo Joonghyuk. Yoo Joonghyuk also tell his life, how he passed scenario and his daily life—

—finally they became a penpals. They're unconsciously waiting for each other letter, longing for every year, everyday, every seconds in their life. Yoo Joonghyuk found somewhat tingly inside every time he read or write the letter, his reply became like a letter with pos stamps.
