I’ve muted this already but for all y’all saying “overpopulation is a fact backed by science”, as much as science is important, it’s HAS to be acknowledged that eugenics is ingrained in science. science isn’t purely objective or unable to be influenced by oppressive rhetoric.

often times “overpopulation” is empirically measured based on SUPPLY OF RESOURCES. since the supply is being MASS depleted by the 1%,the narrative of “too many people” is pushed to absolve accountability from the corporations who’d rather let people die than redistribute wealth.

it’s not something that the 1% and the majority can take “equal” responsibility for because there’s no equal distribution of wealth and resources to begin with. the 99% do NOT have the resources or systemic power to deplete environmental resources exponentially like the 1% do.

a lot of y’all need to realize your talking points on “overpopulation” is rooted in eugenics. y’all do realize a lot of the communities specifically targeted for “population control” are historically marginalized i.e. BIPOC, poor, disabled, etc., right? that’s how eugenics works.
