So I find myself browsing #Velomobile sites, having just realised that as I didn't do my #C2CUSA trip this summer, I have the budget for this sort of extravagance just sloshing around in my bank. Somebody please save me.
Actually, my current plan is:
1.
Build a carbon fibre 'sensible' recumbent, to figure out manufacturing techniques. This'll be ideal for touring.
2. Build a far from sensible, carbon fibre, front-wheel drive low-racer, to perfect mould making and vacuum processing.

3. Build a velomobile with a nomex-cored carbon monocoque. Learn about suspension dynamics over a series of mods.
Or I could just buy one and go riding.
