Fluvoxamin ist ein auf die Psyche wirkender Stoff, der verhindert, dass der an den Nervenenden freigesetzte Botenstoff Serotonin wieder in die Nervenzelle aufgenommen und dadurch unwirksam gemacht wird.
So steht dem Gehirn mehr von diesem Botenstoff zur Verfügung.
