Measuring myself this morning on the 6 month anniversary of signing up for #MPC. It would be easy to post about how proud of myself I am for losing the inches, but I found myself wondering aboute how that would look to others. MPC is so much more. 1./
Yes, I have slimmed down but I have also put on muscle, I am leaner, stronger and healthier and have a better quality of life. The programme emphasises sleep and recovery, and advice for eating the right foods in sufficient quantities. Sleep and food - my sort of programme! https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit FreudentrĂ€nen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit FreudentrĂ€nen">.
I am more able to manage my job, which is very physical, and recover faster. I sleep better and enjoy my time off more because I am less fatigued. I save money by planning meals and this frees up money in my budget to do more things I want to do.
I am eating food that is more appropriate for supporting an active lifestyle and in these times of social distancing, there is a wonderful community online willing to support a complete stranger on the other side of the world to try their best and achieve their goals.
If any of you see this, thank you to Coach @SamHeughan @CoachValbo and all the team at @MyPeakChallenge for creating and continuing to support this wonderful programme that empowers and gives so many people like myself the tools to improve their quality of life.
I don’t post pictures of myself online for reasons to do with work and personal safety or you’d be getting the 6 month before/after pictures on this thread too!
