I saw a tweet today saying they were reminded of Michleoangelo’s Pygmalion statue- Michleoangelo is Italian and the picture Jinyoung posted today is an Italian movie based on an Italian book- so the sevens did the English work of Shakespeare and now are delving into Italian work?
The story of Martin Eden in and of itself is a love story of a writer who is frustrated with the publishing world that keeps rejecting him;so this involves the literary arts theme that was depicted in NBTM;it’s a connection of stories (mainly tragedies;YCMN & Eclispe were sad too
By looking at this story it can also be said that the theme is of self discovery, a journey of the self that is heavily influenced by romance;something like love both gives meaning to a person and destroys the person
So we might be seeing another dark song or finally see the light side of it- the breath of air it brings- the story is still the effect of love and how it changes a person- Eclipse is using love to save them from darkness, YCMN is thrown back into darkness after losing love
NBTM is the refusal to give up on the love and so Breath may as well be the pursuit of gaining love again- just like the character in the story tries to attain his love; it’s all connected through stories and through words and symbols
Speaking of words and symbols- YCMN had Chinese symbols, NBTM corresponded to Shakespearean English work, and if Breath correlated to Martin Eden it will be connected to an Italian work- Eclipse is ambiguous but we could say it’s more of language expressed through symbols
So it’s an expression of various languages of love too- this thread is just my ramblings and thoughts and observations really so I’ll just leave it here even if it is useless info #GOT7 #갓세븐 @GOT7Official
