sad bc I want to make a script for rack focus in storyboard pro but I cant program.... sighhhh (right now I have a button for convert to bitmap layer + a button for blur in my top toolbar, which is a big help, but I would like a one-button minimal-dialogue box solution)
iirc in after effects you can just make any object out of focus in a non-destructive way with an adjustable setting. (its been a while but I remember doing this) storyboard pro pls 
I hate duplicating layers+converting to bitmap+blur and repeating the process from scratch if I have to make further revisions..... shallow depth of field is common....... toonboom please
