ALIEN 3 is one of those movies where the disdain aimed toward it honestly baffles me.
It’s, like, really damn good. Aside from a few janky VFX shots I literally have no complaints.

The whole “You can’t do that to Newt and Hicks!” thing is stupid and is essentially the “NOT MAH LUKE!” of early 90’s cinema.

ESPECIALLY when we’re talking about sequels about disillusionment/grief like ALIEN 3 and LAST JEDI.
Ironically, both the aforementioned are much more on the wavelength of their originators than the generally better-liked sequels that directly preceded them.
