I do wish the Right (or whatever the f&^* Cerno is at this hour; hard to keep track..) would drop this meme that there was such a thing called 'The Objective Media.'

Daniel Defoe founded "journalism.txt", and he was a gin-soaked, partisan hired gun. Take note. https://twitter.com/Cernovich/status/1325619420295622656
The Fleet Street press, to their credit, still acknowledge that heritage, proudly answering to the moniker "hack", for example, and often reveling in dissolution...Their papers also wouldn't dare place something like 'All the News that's Fit to Print' or 'Democracy Dies in
Darkness' on their mastheads... They're partisan, as is every newspaper worth its ink. It's best we all grow up and get used to it. No one opens the Daily Mail wondering why there's no film reviews from a trans BME M2F critic criticizing the latest HBO series for arcane offenses
just as no one opens the Guardian wondering why there aren't any banner headlines about men of South Asian descent committing a crime of one sort or another....

And frankly, the whole media landscape is far more honest for that, IMO... Everyone knows where that stand.
Objectivity, forsooth! There's no such thing. Give it up. And the American Right pretending that there is such a thing--and that the US press corps by implication ought to strive for it--is just another example of what useless, hopeless Whigs they are....
