My message to many right-wing Zionists: Stop painting the right as the only true Zionists and the left as anti-Zionist. You are effectively alienating an entire generation from the cause of Zionism, because they associate it with your right-wing politics. /1

What you SHOULD be doing is touting Zionism as an ideology unattached to the political spectrum, as an essential movement for the Jewish people. So many people, especially younger generations distance themselves from the right. /2

These people will be future voters and policymakers and we can’t let them be led into falsely thinking that Zionism is exclusively a right-wing ideology. /3

In addition: anti-Zionism has effectively been branded as progressive, thereby becoming popular in progressive circles, with the result that Zionism is seen as regressive and racist. /4
