On Fox News right now, we have Mark Levin slamming Chief Justice John Roberts for "making some cockamamie distinction between federal courts and state courts." Levin says Trump should *make* the Supreme Court hear his (nonexistent) case.
Levin is now amplifying a view I've heard privately from several @GOP figures: the idea that Republicans shouldn't acknowledge Biden as *anything* until after the electoral vote count is certified.

Levin says he'll ask Ken Starr about this nutty idea next.
Earlier this week Matt Gaetz also floated this thought, with the aim of getting Trumpist House @GOP to file challenges to the electoral vote certification process in the House. It wouldn't do anything, but it's one more way they can gunk up the process.
It's worth noting that Levin isn't even the most extreme voice in the room here. One Rep I spoke to this morning said there's "no legal requirement" for the @GOP to acknowledge Biden as anything but a private citizen until he swears the oath of office on 1/20/21.
Which is to say...not great news for the idea that House and Senate @GOP will be in a spirit of bipartisanship when President-elect Biden walks into the Oval Office in January.
Ken Starr was supposed to talk about the idea of "President-elect Biden" but instead he's...talking about BLM protesters in Portland burning their Bibles?
I guess we've given up on that segment because now we're filling time until Trump by discussing "the Democrats' war on the Constitution".....with Levin citing Democratic lawsuits aimed at protecting government from Trump's authoritarian overreach.
Levin and Starr are both believers in this fringe idea (along with Lindsey Graham) that the @GOP can still win this in the Electoral College by encouraging Republican legislatures to appoint pro-Trump electors regardless of the official vote count.
It shows you how far the @GOP has come that "overrule the votes" is the next logical step in their action plan. Just have the Republican PA state legislature decide who won Pennsylvania! That's what the founders "actually wanted" anyway, right?
Oh how Constitutional Originalism can seem alive and breathing when the Republicans need to make the case for outright, open-air election theft.
It's amazing how quickly the @GOP's desperation drove it from "We're gonna win all 50 states! MAGA 2020!" to "Screw it let's just steal the damn thing."
I just tuned in to see Donald Trump whine about getting thrown out of the White House. I feel like I've mistakenly walked into a dusty back and into the middle of a 19th Century coup plot.
I will not be live tweeting anything else until Trump is on because Mark Levin is a moron and he keeps speaking into his collarbones.
These people REALLY hate losing
Oh my god this ad on Fox is for a real product I thought it was a @timheidecker bit.
I hope it's now abundantly clear to anyone with doubts that the "conservative legal movement" was never about a better or more accurate reading of the law. It was about power--and now we're seeing the @GOP try to put that power into play to save Trump.
