HONOUR

To honour means to treat and call special what God has called special.

In Eph 6:1, we are instructed to obey our parents in the Lord. Therefore, we honour them by placing importance on what they say, as they have been placed above us for our own good.
1Tim 5:17
Honour, here in the Greek is time, which translates to money. Honour doesn't start and end in words, it is shown in deeds. It is impossible to honour without giving

Do not be coerced in thinking that when you give to your pastor or ministry gifts, you are being...
cheated or brainwashed. You are simply saying, 'Yes, I understand the importance God has placed on them and I value it.'

Do not be deceived, you spend on whatever it is you honour.

Honour is not limited to ministry gifts, I would put out a list of people you should honour.
Things that can hinder you from honouring:
* Offense: This is the fruit of dishonour, and in the realm of the Spirit, the offended heart cannot receive from God.

*Familiarity: Familiarity hinders how much you can receive from a man. This is why those at Nazareth didn't...
receive much from Christ (Mt 13:53-58)

*Lack of Submission: Submission is alignment, and you cannot truly grow without submission. You must submit and be accountable to someone.
Seven (7) People to Honour:
*The Lord and His Word
*Parents (Eph 6:2)
*Those who labour over you (Phil 2:28-30, 1Thess 5:12-13)
*The brethren
*Widows (1Tim 5:3)
*Bosses at work (1Tim 6:1)
*Your body (1Cor 3:16)

Honour is intentional, be intentional about it.
