If you are new, here is the story of how I started out, a story of winning, losing and growing

Maybe it can help you

Thread/
2/ Early 2017 a friend pushed me to read the Ethereum whitepaper

I bought bitcoin and ether eventually - flabbergasted by its potential and its growth over the years

I bought a local top on ETH and saw its value drop 70%
3/ I was shocked and had zero idea about trading

I started researching other altcoins & investing in ideas I liked, whilst learning about technical analysis

It was a great year, trading wise not so much, but alts and btc were flying
4/ I felt invincible. It would only go up more, forever. Until obviously the market topped and lots of the crazy fuck you money made, evaporated. I became a coping bagholder.

It pushed me to understand trading and I put my head down to absorb more and more information
5/ A fully liquidated account leverage account, some great trades and some very terrible ones later, the bottom of 2018 came in and I slowly started to grasp fundamentals of trading bitcoin

I had to rebuild my account, built strategies and learned to avoid greed
6/ I basically went from nothing, to everything, to a bit more than nothing

I learned how to lose, I learned how to take profit

A few years later, we are on the cusp of the next big bull market and I can finally say that I feel ready, after obsessing over it for years
7/ The one thing that haunted my dream for at least a year after bitcoin's ATH, were the words "I should have taken profit, why so greedy"?

So the best advice I can give: prepare yourself for the ride

It will be extremely difficult to control your emotions

That's the start
