Alright this is my official live tweet thread for Godzilla vs Biollante. So sit back and enjoy.

I like how we get to really see the fallout of Godzilla’s attacks and also how valuable Godzilla’s cells are.

Then there’s this guy.

The very first appearance of Miki Saegusa in this series.

I was like these kids drawing Godzilla a lot.

Shiragami is one of the more Interesting characters within the franchise.

The Super X2.

I can see the monsterverse pulling a lot of ideas from this movie. Using Godzilla’s dna to create other titans.

I think Biollante is one of the more interesting Kaiju designs within the franchise. A Plant based Kaiju is a neat concept.

Easily one of Godzilla’s best entrances.

Who is this guy? He randomly just pops up in the movie. I want to know more of his story.

Beam spamming! Also, the music for the Super X2 sounds like it belongs in a space opera.

Godzilla battling Biollante.

Miki using her psychic abilities on Godzilla. But, it doesn’t work. Also, is Godzilla using psychic abilities too? He even glows at one point.

Godzilla destroying cities.

Unlimited Power!

Biollante is one of the most impressive effects I’ve seen. It’s the most complex suit Toho ever made. That’s for sure.

Ouch. Biollante stabbed him right through his fucking hand.

This is one of the most violent Godzilla fights.

I’ll tell you when I’ve had enough.

Biollante just kind of fades away. It looks nice. But, I would have rather seen a more epic send off with Godzilla destroying her with his atomic breath.

This bad guy just keeps popping up at the worst possible times.

Ok this scene always gets a chuckle out of me.

Godzilla’s had enough for today.

Movie ends with Godzilla heading off to sea and Biollante drifts off into Space to go and potentially create SpaceGodzilla.

Well that was an interesting one to revisit. I think this one has some of the most interesting ideas and creativity within the franchise. Biollante is a unique Kaiju and I would have liked to have seen more of her.

I have some gripes with it. I think some of the movie does drag at times and I would have liked a more exciting climax. But, there’s still a lot to like in this one.
