Whether you believe it is literal or merely metaphorical, the story of Lucifer's creation, corruption, and fall is a good analog to how "good intentions" wind up, if you're not careful, with you on the path to hell. (1)
In the Bible, Lucifer was God's most beautiful creation. He was stunning to behold and wise, to boot. But his pride corrupted him. He desired worship and wanted God's worship for himself, so he was cast down... forever to be man's deceiver. (2)
Much like Lucifer, God's command for us to love and take care of each other is perfect in its beauty.

But much more like Lucifer, man has taken pride in what God has given and taking care of each other has become corrupted. (3)
God commands us to take care of each other of our own volition. Not, by force, mandate we do... for God also gave us free will.

And the pride shown in forcing others to do as much, like Lucifer himself, is corrupted and has fallen. (4)
Be wary of taking pride in helping others... that is corrupted.

Avoid, at all costs, using force to mandate others do the same... that is fallen.

And things that are fallen have been the impetus for mass bloodshed throughout human history. (End)
