what will always remain unknowable is how many potential votes who might have ticked the trump box through the mail in early october that he later lost by getting covid and acting like a total chode

bottom line is there’s a very feasible scenario where trump embraces mail in voting, gets a bunch of people to lock themselves into him in early october, and wins this thing just as convincingly as biden

I only point this out to hammer home the point that the man is the worst tactical politician in history. a complete and total moron who flipped the middle finger to a thousand off-ramps as he blew by them, pissing on each and every trump voter along the way

an accurate historical assessment of trump should lead with the point that the man found himself in an almost un-loseable race where doing just ONE of a thousand things right at any junction puts him back in office comfortably, and instead he did ZERO
