Where do we go from here & some thoughts:

- Hold the Biden administration accountable and ensure they carry through on their promises. The first 100 days are critical.
- The repeal of the Muslim Ban & ending the assault on DACA is the start in terms of reversing Trump policies

- We need an overhaul of immigration enforcement, national security and criminal justice laws and policies.
- COVID-19 recovery efforts: we need cancel rent and rent moratoriums across the nation. We need more support for workers who are impacted and are losing jobs.

- Universal free healthcare is absolutely essential & as much work can be done to move and assure that is important.
-Climate change & disaster management: Floods, wildfires & extreme weather is a reality. It’s absolutely critical that this next administration invest resources.

Other areas that I’m thinking of are education, ending wars, surveillance, cancel debt that is crushing entire generations, and investing in public transportation.

What are issues that matter to you?

Adding on we need a living wage and a UBI as soon as possible. Capitalism is crushing everyone except the 1% and yes we need to use abolition as a framework and theory of change.

Finally state and federal budgets. The divest/invest frame is critical to use to move funds that don’t help people but are invested in death, destruction and harm towards communities of care. Invest in housing, education, jobs, climate and our futures.
