things that need to change at this beautiful football club: a thread
1, and probably the most imperative: arteta's teamsheets

after multiple disasterclasses from willian and lacazette, many of us struggle to see why they still start in the league. aubameyang should be shifted back to the centre with pépé on the right and saka/nelson on the left.
2: creativity

arsenal are in SERIOUS need of a creative midfielder, with ozil left out of the squad for reasons we will never know. a midfield of partey and elneny, while strong defensively, has NO creative output. willock is the closest we have to a creative midfielder.
3. captaincy lol

i have no clue what's happened to aubameyang, but since signing his contract he looks shot of all confidence, and it showed in his body language today. maybe the armband should be given to another leader in the squad, whether it be luiz or bellerin
4. defensive woes

despite statistically still being the best defence in the league, rob holding should not be starting for us in november 2020. gabriel, having already proven himself, needs a young long term partner.
5: formation

arteta said we would switch to a 433 come this season, yet we are still playing 3/5 at the back against teams where we are supposed to play on the front foot? when there are weak links in our defense which is sometimes error prone, we probably shouldn't do that lmao
adding to point 1:

some may argue that pépé is 'inconsistent' but
would you rather start willian, who has one good game at the start of the PL season then ghosts for the other 37 games? or pépé who will at least score or create chances when we're down by one?
while most arsenal fans agree that we massively overpaid for nico pépé, he is still our most effective winger and shouldn't be benched by willian, as he was brought in originally to be a depth signing.
