Hi if you thought Dave Chappelle’s AIDS joke on SNL was funny last night, or even if it blew over your head, please take a minute to do some research so you can realize how disgusting it truly was.

I can see points where AIDS and covid could possibly be comparable, but there is so much pain and suffering behind the aids epidemic that some of these comparisons are offensive and distasteful. The majority of the public didn’t rally behind people with AIDS. They were shunned, —

joked about, told that they deserved to have something destroy their body and life because of the connotations that came from how one supposedly “got” AIDS. Please please please do your research about how AIDS hurt the LGBTQ+ community and be more cognizant.
