Since I see the establishment dem vs. Progressive debate has started again:
1. Younger folks who are in the Democratic party are growing more progressive and it would be a mistake to not take their demands seriously.

2. Phrases like defund the police doesn't just scare (cont)
Aware old conservatives, but also dems, many of which are older Black folks. These same Black folks are fully aware that police brutality is in issue, yet at the same time, they don't want to see less policing, they want to see better policing. Save the
"All cops are bad" argument, because regardless of the truth of this statement, you aren't going to win this demographic over with this.

The issue is two fold. The established Dems are very fucking bullheaded and they need to realize that it isn't 1992 anymore. Also, while the
Progressive wing does have some great ideas, you can only expand so far if yiur messaging scares off potential voters. The problem isn't the policy, it's how the policy is sold to folks and no amount of righteous indignation will convince folks until the messaging is changed.
So basically in summation, EVEEYONE has some work to do if we want to get stuff done.
