What breaks me is that what @AOC is describing in this interview is a hostile work environment, the kind that women and people of color face everyday in America just for refusing to be complicit in their own silencing.

And notice the reactions to this piece and how her assessment of the party is perceived.

Men get to disagree with a group, while a woman dissenting is perceived as a personal attack to that group.

Men who critique are called daring, while the women get called difficult.
