We have a system here and it is not friendly to people who try to skip the line.

One more wrinkle: whoever is chosen will have to defend their seat in the top 2 jungle primary.

These are the most brutal primary elections in the country because it requires winning in the conservative Central Valley and urban Los Angeles. Can your choice do that?
