The number of Hoosiers hospitalized with #coronavirus sets a new record for the sixth straight day, with 2,070, 34 more than yesterday. Of those, 524 are in intensive care, 35 fewer than yesterday and the fewest in a week.

15 of 36 newly reported deaths occurred yesterday.
Indiana reports 4,689 new #coronavirus cases, 3rd-highest ever after 4 days of new highs. ISDH has removed one death from the tally, so the 36 newly reported deaths bring the death toll to 4,383, but has also identified two more presumptive #COVID19 deaths, for a total of 4,629.
The 7-day positivity rate, which runs a week behind, jumps a full half-point to 9.5%, highest since May 10, continuing a steady six-week climb. For 1st-time patients, the rate leaps to 18.2%, the highest since Apr 30, five days after Indiana reached its high-water mark of 22.8%.
Today's batch of tests came back 10.8% positive. For 1st-time patients, newly returned tests were 28.9% positive.
43 of Indiana's 92 counties have positivity averages over 10%, including 10 above @StateHealthIN's 15% red line. Perry County is highest at 22.1%; Switzerland County is lowest at 4.2%.
Last week was week 5 of #flu season, and the flu risk level has edged up for the first time, from "minimal" to "low."
