Mgk has always been influenced by rock music, Mgk was in a band when he was a kid, he’s played blink 182 at live shows since 2011/12, multiple references to Kurt Cobain,
he went on tour with @limpbizkit ,
he has a song with @KidRock , he has a song ft M shadows & Synyster Gates

And both of them are from the band @TheOfficialA7X ,
He remade @riseagainst ‘s Swing Life Away and he ft Kellin Quinn from the band @SWStheband ... and I really could go on but I would go has far as saying he reinvented himself.. I’d say he’s exploring all of his interests.
