people who say sport and politics don't mix are mad

sport, as an arena in which Black people are majorly over-represented, should be more political imo

imagine if Black footballers all had something collectively to say about Windrush? No, that's asking too much. Imagine if just one of them had something to say. No, that's asking to much as well

obviously, there is an inherent unfairness in feeling obliged to participate in such things based on your racial identity and I feel that, even as a creative. But that doesn't change the fact that when it's done, it can be very effective

btw don't go blaming famous Black people for the problems that are inflicted on us. they don't HAVE to do or say thing. that's not what this thread is about. I am just of the opinion that having a platform and being informed can be a good thing
