Why I think no one will D word in #IToldSunsetAboutYou , a thread (just my thoughts and some other theories I've read online):

1- This is my main argument. The fact that Nadao did it before in My Ambulance with the same actors. It would be too much doing it again in the next BKPP series.

2- It ruins the message of the show. This show's main subject seems to be a coming of age story about how Teh falls in love for the first time for his best friend and all the confusion and conflicting feelings he feels inside.

How he's split between his feelings and desires and submitting to the expectations of society and family. If someone D words, it's a lazy way of resolving this conflict. Actually, this whole conflict which is the center of this story will be erased and have been in vain.

Teh D wording is the worst of them all, because as I said it erases all the possibility of character development and lessons for Teh and the viewers. Aew D wording seems more plausible to still keep the message but...

we've had all these hints of there being a significance in Aew being in the university waiting list plus this would erase the component of both friends dealing with the aftermath of their feelings.

A bury your gay ending would be a lazy and shock value way of ending this beautifully and carefully crafter story and I don't think Nadao would do this. This is a story about first love, discovering yourself and accepting yourself... not tragedy/grief.

3- "the ending might not please everyone" that Billkin allegedly said. Well, an open ending or a not direct "lived together ever after" ending might not please some, but a d word wouldn't please ANYONE watching the show, and this is a fact.

Conclusion: Do I think the ending might hurt us? Am I going to be crying for days? Probably. I'm nervous too, but the more I think about it rationally and objectively, the less I think that's going to happen. If it does, petition to sue Nadao for the emotional damage

PS: I forgot another point. There are people saying (does anyone have the receipts?) that Nadao said that they'll be releasing more #IToldSunsetAboutYou things after the 5 episodes. If this is true, what's there to show that the public would watch if one of them d words?

If this show really has some CMBYN undertones, then it's more plausible that both live, are separated (just romantically or totally?) but then probably implied they reunite or actually reuniting in this alleged material after the 5 episodes.
