Why I'm not talking about the upcoming High Republic era stories. A brief thread.

I have a couple, none of which has to do with the story, or where some fans think current political thoughts will influence the story the same way the sequel trilogy did. Nope.

The initial artwork released was just meant to be a preview. Some fans improved the looks, as seen by the newer reveals of these characters they took their advice to heart. But that's not why I don't talk about it.

The reason why I don't want to talk about it is: I want to have no expectations going in, good or bad. I don't want expectations that it's good in case I get disappointed. I don't want low expectations in case it is good.

I want to be pleasantly surprised! I trust the author of the 1st novel Charles Soule implicitly! His SW comics have been great! The artists and creative teams on the comics are good as well. This is a visually appealing series.

Plus we get to see Yoda, possibly at his prime. I doubt he's anything more than a supporting character initially, but it would be nice if he got a novel, or comic book arc all to himself.

So, bottom line is I'm keeping an open mind about this project. Not into checking spoilers or what others think about it before the 1st story comes out. I trust the lead project author, I'll judge it when it comes out. End thread.
