Now that I am home, let me show you my POV of how the police decided to host members of the press & peaceful pro-democracy protestors down with water cannons again. Thank you for not using irritant chemical this time but please stop doing this to us & the kids. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
I got @JamesJWilsonBkk with me today as usual. We there around 2-3pm with pro-democracy protestors and pro-monarchy demonstrators already being separated by the police. The last one didn’t like me too close to him but got him anyway. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา

Red Shirts supporters got there first before the kids but they are fighting for democracy all the same. And of course, the famous costume wearer who is at every protest site. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
On the pro-democracy side while they were staring across to the royalists on the other side and the police were in the middle. One protestor asking for her rights to wear yellow shirt without being branded as royalist. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
Walked to the pro-monarchy side for a change of view. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
I first spotted the famous instigator when he arrived around 4pm. Crowd on the pro-monarchy side were yelling in support of him. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา

After he received the cheering from the crowd on the pro-monarchy side, he then tried to provoke the pro-democracy supporters on the other side of rue street, claiming he was just making a u-turn. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
The police then took away his key and ID but later gave it back to him so that he can park his horse at the back. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
Pro-democracy protestors were piss off that the police allowed the instigator to ride his ATV to taunt at them so they took one side of the street to stop anymore crazy person coming near the rally. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
The pro-democracy protestors peacefully occupied one side of the street at the Democracy Monument by 4:30pm. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
The crowd on the pro-monarchy side began to dwindled around 4:30pm. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
The crowd on the pro-democracy side began to circled the royalists after the crazy person on the ATV before the pro-monarchy group decided to call of their rally. They said they have accomplished what they came here to do which is to “observe”. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
The pro-monarchy supporters said they will be back tomorrow at the Government House to tell the government what they have observed here today. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา

Then comes the time for the march around 6pm. Everything was peaceful up until here. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา

I got to the first police barrier around 6:30pm. No water cannon trucks yet. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา

Volunteer guards trying to stop people from approaching the police barriers but many have walked passed them already. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
With a sprint, I have reached the buses and the barbed wires around 7pm. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
A volunteer guard climbed into a bus/barrier so he can move it with the first view of the water cannon trucks behinds it. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา

Then comes the unnecessary use of water connons without warning to the peaceful protestors and members of the media. Luckily, I have managed to hold on to my phone but I wasn't able to keep on filming from the impact. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
The protestors responded by moving away the barbed wires. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
Protestors took to Sanam Luang to get away from the water cannons. Riot police were taken by a surprise so they have to formed a smaller barriers on the park as well. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
Volunteer guards blocking out protestors who tried to approach the police line on Sanam Luang. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา

Again, volunteer guards were not confronting, they were trying to block protestors away from the police. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
After regroup, I decided to rejuon the people who were gearing up with helmets and umbrella in case of another unnecessary used of force by the police. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
Protest organisers holding up signs while askig for people to sit down so the police don't shoot water cannons at them again. While use force at these people? #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา

A call for people to calm down was disrupted by the police saying ”sorry”. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
My first glimpse of the mail boxes containing the people messages to the King. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา

Got to the frontline between the people and the police. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
The protestors reached the barbed wires and the police were trying to use the water cannons again. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
Protestors were taking away more barbed wires. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
The police decided not to use the water cannons as protestors were already between the barb wires. The first smart choice they have made tonight. #ม็อบ8พฤศจิกา
