After the segment was done Don & his crew openly voiced to me how impressed they were that I was so honest and clear and even called Trump unAmerican.
It was a powerful interaction that set my course for the remainder of Trump’s presidency.

We must stop a status quo set up to keep white elites comfortable at the expense of truth.

I think a lot about what Black/brown professionals have to endure, swallow & shrink while performing to not get edged out of spaces & platforms governed by counterparts who can’t/don’t want to hear it.
