AOC is under no obligation to silently act as a public punching bag for both Republicans and her own damn party in the name of “unity.” She did an admirable job of supporting Biden in the election and making the case for doing so to the left wing of the party
And the thanks she got was this public “shut up or you’ll lose us Georgia,” which is a baseless assertion anyway. Georgia flipped blue due to tireless work from Black organizers and huge turnout from Black voters, not because mealy-mouthed centrism made a lot of Republicans flip
People to the left of the party establishment turned out for this election. Black voters, Latinx voters, Indigenous voters, turned out for Dems. The John Kasichs of the country, it seems from the admittedly still early and Republican-skewing exit polls, did not.
Yet they’re still obsessed with chasing the Kasich vote. Absurd.
