Um, no. Four years ago I was recently out as nonbinary, in a country that had seemed to be moving in the direction of equality. Then we did a sudden about-face to somebody who ran on reversing that trend.

And trump lived down to our fears, directing his justice department to file briefs on the side of legalizing discrimination against lgbt+ folks, and directing the military to discharge transgender soldiers.

To put somebody& #39;s fear that Biden is going to take away his guns and make him have an abortion on an equal plane with that is asinine.

And if your fear is that you will no longer have the full support of the federal government behind you when you discriminate, well, your side had a charming slogan about what people like me could do with our feelings, and I invite you to apply it to yourself right now.

Liberal friends, please reject this bullshit equivalence.
