Just so we're clear: this is how the Executive Director of @AmericanAnthro responded to my request for clarification on protocols and policy for the "Google Hallway" after two Zoombombings. I was asking bc I was supposed to do a workshop.

I did not email him personally at any point, and I firmly believe my concerns are valid.

Also, the Executive Director of @AmericanAnthro took the Accessibility Advisor off the email, even though my concerns largely stem from an access standpoint.

(I don't believe I hassled staff at any point--I reached out when we were Zoombombed, then emailed twice to ask for clarification as I was increasingly nervous about my workshop participants.)

I wonder how the Assoc of Black Anthropologists feel being used in this way?

Anyways, bizarre to get this email from someone I hadn't contacted after I asked an access advisor and a coordinator for clarification on safety after some bad stuff, but gives me more time to deal with my (unrelated) migraine. * shrug *
