It's laughable that in the last few months, in the shadow of the creeping terror of the insecurity law, that right-wing propagandists managed to convince a chunk of LIHKG that Trump was a strongman saviour, when he did N O T H I N G to help at any time.

I mean, if he had been actually done something to help, literally anything, then selling our American friends out for personal self-interest would at least make sense. It'd make you wretched human garbage for ignoring what they went through, but it would have some logic to it.

I'm sure Trump, who had 18 months to do something to help Hongkongers, was just waiting to get that annoying reelection out of the way before finally getting off his arse to show any kind of tangible support.
