They've told their supporters it's the Muslims, the homosexuals, the feminists, MS-13, "urban" youth are the "problem." No policies. But people. It's redirection. A con. Yes. 2/

No one feels the hand reaching for their wallet if a diversion is on offer. The hate, the racism, the homophobia, misogyny, the anti-Muslim rhetoric are all core to @GOP's modus operandi. Keep 'em hating; they'll never see you're robbing them blind. 3/

And they will never play nice in politics. Mitch McConnell gets what he wants by playing dirty and he's not going to stop ever. So, yes, say nice things, be polite, do unto others. But the @GOP playbook since Nixon has been to divide and conquer. 4/

We expect @JoeBiden & @KamalaHarris to fight for social & economic justice for all Americans. Trump exploited @TheDemocrats' failures to confront these issues head on. Civility is fine in personal terms. But politics is rough & tumble. They better be ready for the fight. end/
