Ok so a website was mentioned by a guest on the Brendan O'Connor show earlier. Apparently it's about doctors who are "anti-lockdown".
A related GoFundMe is at *nearly 9k euro*. But what are they fundraising for? It's just signatures right?
Apparently it's to hire someone? Not sure what the project is, since it's a website to collect signatures.
It also links to some YouTube video by one Ivor Cummins.
The Twitter link in the footer goes to an Ivor Cummins tweet.

You too can sign the White Paper. Careful though, your email could be used for further email campaigns later to help fund the, er, campaign.
The linked video is a month old and has 124k views. Always be careful on YouTube of people claiming they have all the answers and try to make their chosen narrative/ideology fit over information they carefully select (and other information is ignored).
As for the "White Paper". It's rehashed Barrington Declaration nonsense. Also that it's hosted on Google Drive should perhaps be a clue to how serious they are.
Seems like people very interested in public health right?
They did some publicity too, by @NewsNeil13 in the Sun today https://www.thesun.ie/news/6121991/doctors-end-lockdown-ireland-outdated-covid-19-response/
Oddly - nowhere in their white paper do they mention terms like "ventilation" or "aerosols". Instead they argue - essentially - for this sort of stuff. Which wouldn't solve much. Big words though, much wow. (Also - poorly written for so many doctors!)
So be careful out there folks. Lots of people making all sorts of claims and looking for cash to help them spread the claims. Maybe ask yourself what their motivations are first.
And if something seems too good to be true, or over simplified complex problems, or tries to reframe authoritative sources to suit a specific agenda using careful edits or out of date information, be sceptical.
I don't get paid or ask for money for my COVID list of *ACTUAL EXPERTS* but you can follow it and pin it to have it on your home screen. After a few days of browsing you'll be better at understanding the pandemic. Here it is.

We can definitely get better at tackling the pandemic (and learn from countries like S Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Australia etc) but we won't get better at tackling it by financially supporting or watching the unscientific nonsense outlined above.
