I see many African men celebrating Kamala being the first black female VP of the US, and isn’t it hypocritical that the average African man cannot accommodate his wife’s success but will be the first to clap for thriving Black American women. Are you not a winch like this?
To contest for the position of a VP means Kamala must have been going to meetings back to back. Some of you here are so insecure that you can’t even let your wife pursue her career because you think she’d become ‘wayward’. Is she your child?🤦🏼
I once overheard an Igbo man saying that his wife would never go for NYSC. Why? She’s a woman and anything can happen. Sadly, many men think this way. How much more supporting your wife to become the Vice President? And you’re here clapping your wicked hands for Kamala 🙄
Before I forget, Kamala was single till 6 years ago. She got married at the age of 50. And at 56 she has made history, but y’all won’t let women in their late 20’s rest. You write off successful women in their 30’s because they are single. Repent!
Before you tell an African woman, “look at Kamala, she’s your mate...”. Ask yourself, as a man, are you Kamala husband’s material? They thrive because their husbands give them so much support. Their husbands aren’t intimidated; they are okay with being behind the stage.
That’s why I roll my eyes each time Nigerian men talk about how Kim made Kanye which is not entirely true though. However, can you marry a woman like Kim without slut-shaming her? And using her past against her? The hypocrisy dey vex me.
Again, Kamala still beats her maiden name: Kamala Harris. Her husband’s name is Douglas Emhoff. I don’t know why I’m pointing that out, but do with that information whatever you wish.
You should be your wife’s backbone. Her biggest cheerleader. When she says she wants to be a millionaire, tell her to aim for a billionaire. Get rid of your overblown toxic ego. Stop killing her dreams with your insecurity.
Marriage should fasten purpose accomplishment. If you cannot support a woman to greatness, avoid her. Don’t be all here on the internet celebrating Kamala, when your wife is a potential ‘Kamala’ but you’re oppressing her dreams. Thank you sir.❤️
