this weeks been hard. everyone wants me to be excited about joe/kamala but I feel absolutely nothing. Trump is evil, but so is an office built on the incessant incarceration and murder of black/brown/indigenous/tgnc/disabled bodies. regardless of who fills it

& I feel alone in this bc certain social media spaces feel like echo chambers for lib propaganda that tells me if Im not celebrating rn then Im part of the problem. If I dont vote I dont have a voice. So I HAVE to consent to this fucked up 2 party system or Im denied agency? Ok

but twitters been reassuring. I am not in fact losing it! electoral politics are truly futile and the real work does happen on the ground.... I just cannot figure out how to escape this imperialist hell and how everything I do contributes to sustaining it and it’s heavy
