I was taken on a tour of football grounds here in Buenos Aires yesterday. We weren’t allowed in any due restrictions but it was wonderful to see some very famous old grounds. One day I’ll go to some games I hope.

#1 Independiente who I saw win the Copa Sudamericana in Rio a couple of years ago.

#2 Racing Club

Independiente and Racing are literally next door to each other. Closer than Liverpool/Everton even

#3 Huracan My favourite by far. Main stand reminds me of Highbury.

Huracan graffiti was worth a look as well!

#4 Velez Sarsfield who Marcelo Bielsa coached to the title in 1998. A club loved by @martitabaires ! #Bielsa

#5 Argentinos Juniors. The club of one Diego Armando Maradona, but you’d never know....! It was his first club & he played here for 5 years 76-81

#6 Atlanta. A lower league club down here but they play in great colours and I have an Atlanta shirt in my bar at home #lufc

And that’s my day out. Really enjoyed seeing different parts of this fantastic city to normal. One day soon these fabulous old grounds will come back to life. @BomboneraTears @Groundtastic
