I think the reason I enjoyed ddlc as much as I did is bc it's basically a video game creepypasta but ur the protagonist of it this time around
like. it starts off normal, then suddenly something really weird and disturbing happens, then the game restarts itself and things only get more weird and more disturbing. the game starts glitching, more characters start dy!ng in more gruesome ways than the one that reset -
the entire game, the entity in the game knows who you are, random files that weren't there before get added to your computer... the whole shabang.

it makes me somewhat Displeased when people just look at it from the "ANIME GIRLS D WORDING WHOA" perspective and nothing else imo
like... where is your perception of looking into things. have u just never read a single creepypasta in your life. bc if u read at least ONE video game related creepypasta, you'd know that ddlc would fit the bill if it were written and published somewhere.
case in point: ddlc is actually a very interesting take on the messed up video game genre of creepypasta, where instead of someone else finding the game and experience all it's horrors, you're the one who just randomly finds it on http://itch.io  / steam for free and -
plays it to discover that this game is... disturbing under its cutesy anime girl disguise.

okay goodnight for real this time I saw ddlc on my tl and felt very compelled to make this thread bc haha creepypasta fixation go brrrrr + I've had this opinion since the game came out
