lol. My partner was interviewed for this and it wasn’t used bc the response was that she did not vote for Harris (Biden). It was about how terrible these “choices” were. https://twitter.com/allisonwisk/status/1325259549524193282
The person who did the interview started interviewing her when she we were stationary at Pershing square and walked and talked w her for about 3 blocks. He’s their Guatemalan reporter. El oh el. 🤡 💩
She was happy about the convo bc their Guatemalan background became a site of discussion, too. Our kid was w partner. This is all you need to know about this moment.
And my long-time followers and/or mutuals know I’m not kinda person to even talk about things like these. I’ve been In that rag before a few times and don’t mention it, obvs.
He ended interview w “so you’d say it’s a bittersweet that she (Kamala) that she’s a woman in office but not the woman that you’d like?”
Partner: “it’s not even bittersweet. White supremacy is also embodied by bodies of color.”

He laughed. Probably uncomfortably/confused.
He was tryna fit her back into some narrative of empty “feminist” and “multicultural” excitement at this cop’s election. #OurEnemiesInBlue “Los dos son del mismo proyecto imperialista de los Estados Unidos.” He began in Spanish. That was one initial responses by partner.
I am adding to this thread bc partner had gone to sleep already but then got up and I’m following up w her. She said: “I am glad I didn’t get added to that. I thought u were gonna say I was misquoted.” Lol.
We ain’t thirsty for attention or shit like that. I love that about us. 💙✊🏽💙. Also, our “us” is so expansive. ☺️
