Y’ALL. I JUST THOUGHT OF A GREAT STORY FOR A SONIC THE HEDGEHOG GAME AND MY MIND. UGH.

Okay, so if you’re fan of the comics and the video games and you WISH there was a video game based or loosely based on the comics? I. GOT. YOU.

So this game basically gives a small backstory to Sonic. Where he came from, what was he like as a baby hedgehog before becoming the Sonic we all know and love. Also feel free add your ideas after this thread too! So here is the back story: (next tweet)

We would be introduced to baby Sonic similar to the 2020 movie, but we now learned that it was actually in a small village called Mobius. Like the movie, Longclaw watched over baby Sonic and lived peacefully until they were attacked by unknown enemies. (2)

Longclaw and baby Sonic managed to flew, but Longclaw can’t watch over baby Sonic. SO she quickly flew to a kingdom near Mobius where it was the home of Sonic’s childhood friend, Sally Acron. Sally and her family kept Sonic safe while Longclaw fights off the enemies but (3)

It was too late. Longclaw was defeated. The unknown enemies charged at the royal Acron family. With no choice, Sally urged baby Sonic to run. Before he ran off, they both made a promise to see each other one day. And that was last time we see them. Or so we thought. (4)

Fast forward to now, we get this awesome battle between Dr. Eggman and Sonic, with Tails and Knuckles by his side, as they try to retrieve a chaos emerald. At one point, Sonic was cornered by one of Eggman’s robots. As he was about to strike, a mysterious figure saved Sonic. (5)

Together, they both defeated Eggman’s robots but before they could get to Eggman, he fled with a sheepish smile. Sonic thanked the mysterious figure and asked who they were. And the mysterious turned out to be—you guessed it— SALLY MOTHERFUCKING ACRON. (6)

Things get awkward at first, but luckily Tails broke the ice and asked her what she was doing here. Sally revealed that she needed to find the chaos emerald because Mobius is in deep trouble: her people went missing left and right including her father, King Acron. (7)

Sally asked Sonic and Tails to come to Mobius and help figure out why it’s happening, afraid that Mobius might get attacked. At first Sonic was hesitant since it was his childhood home, but with a motivation from Tails, Sonic agrees and thus starts their adventure in Mobius. (8)

We’ll also get to meet the Freedom Fighters (including one of my favorite characters Bunny Robot) and see our favorite characters interact with each other as they team up to find the missing Mobius citizens. (9)

There will be stages similar to the classics, Sonic Adventure 2, AND Sonic Lost World. Awesome battle stages. All that awesome jazz WITH a fantastic story & writing to boot. We get all of that while we learn more about Sonic and see a glimpse of his friendship with Sally. (10)

But then we get to the climax. The team finds out that Eggman has connections to the missing Mobius citizens. As our heroes raced and met with Eggman, they were right: Eggman captured the missing Mobius citizens and turned them into controlling robots— similar to the comics! (11)

The team were about to stop him until Eggman pulled out Sally’s father, King Acron, ready to turn him into a robot. He made a deal: spare King Acron and trade him for Sally. Sonic was against this, but Sally surrendered as she doesn’t want to lose her father. (12)

Sonic pleads Sally to reconsider and find a different plan to save her father and that he didn’t want to lose her as they were just rekindling their friendship, but her mind was already made up. Sally says goodbye as Sonic cries out her name as she turns into Metal Sally. (13)

This becomes second to the last boss fight. Boss fight between Sonic and now Metal Sally. It’ll be similar to the comics’ interpretation of the story but it will be all while Eggman cruise in his gigantic bot to Mobius to take it over as a ruler. So this will be a hard stage.(14)

Of course this is a Sonic game and the player has to defeat an enemy—even if it’s a childhood friend. Sonic reminds Metal Sally about their childhoods, how much he cherished their friendship. Luckily, Tails found a way to turn her back by reprogramming Eggman’s machine (15)

that turned her into Metal Sally. Sonic then spin balls toward Metal Sally into the machine and Tails immediately started it as it changes Sally back to normal. With no time left, the team found chaos emeralds, which Eggman uses to power his robot-making machines. (17)

In classical Sonic & team fashion, they gathered all 7 chaos emeralds so Sonic can become Super Sonic and stop Eggman once and for all. Super Sonic face off with Eggman in the battle to save Mobius. This will be the final boss fight. (18)

This final stage will be similar to Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 — epic music, action-packed attacks from Super Sonic, and crazy-big robot by Eggman. With one final blow, Eggman’s machine is destroyed and he shot out of the sky by Super Sonic while screeching, “CURSE YOU, SONIC.” (19)

The day is saved. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Sally, and the Freedom Fighters were all able to restore all of the missing citizens back to normal and returned home. As the story comes to a close, we see our heroes saying goodbye to the Freedom Fighters and promise to visit. (20)

Sonic and Sally, on the other hand, had a moment together before they part ways. Sally asks Sonic to stay and live with her in Mobius, like they used to. However, Sonic says no but made a promise to her: whenever he’s ready to come back, he will and will greet her 1st. (21)

With a smile, the two will hug, look at each other for a long time before breaking off and awkwardly say they’ll miss each other. But with a smile. Because friendship! The story will end similar to Sonic Force: kind of open-ended but on a happy note that they’ll meet again. (FIN)

Whew! I know this was a random burst of ideas, but I’m on a Sonic marathon lately on YouTube & just have to share my idea as a Sonic the Hedgehog fan. So I hope you enjoyed this random yet fun idea for a Sonic The Hedgehog game. It may never happen, but at least this idea is out.
